Feeding your dog shouldnt make your brain hurt or break the bank. It also should be nutritious and not full of garbage!
Things to avoid:
COLORS: Colored kibble is marketing and dogs don’t do well w/artificial dyes
LARD: If you reach in the bag and grab a handful you should not come out with a smelly or greasy and. Sprayed on lard makes crap food palatable
Fillers: Corn, wheat and soy(beans) are cheap additives to fill the bag but many dogs are allergic due to poor quality of these scraps
POTATOES and PEAS: The grain free fad added in a different type of cheap filler and many dogs like them but nutritionally they dont need them.
Since kibble is dry hard rocks, I recommend rehydrating with a little warm water.
